"Puss puss"

Oh that's right, I was supposed to blog about food in August. Whoops. I used up the last can of chickpeas last night. I made couscous or "puss puss" as Abby calls it. It is just about the only food that kid won't eat and I don't know why. I cook it from time to time anyway just to annoy her and because we all like it so ha ha (annoying 4 year old speak which translates to 'sucked in').
The recipe -
3 teaspoons of moroccan spice mix
a splash of olive oil
eggplant
zucchinis
red capsicum
spanish onion
cherry tomatoes
garlic
chickpeas

Chop all the veggies, sprinkle them with the spice mix and put them in the oven at 200 degrees. Unpack the dishwasher, re-pack the dishwasher, bring in the washing, bath children, dress children, tidy the kitchen, rescue the cat from underneath children, feed the cat, take out the rubbish, empty the food scraps into the worm bin, read children "Mutt Dog", sweep kitchen, set the table, then check on the veggies (after an hour or so) and make the couscous (just do what it says on the packet). Then add the couscous and chickpeas to the veggies and put it all back in the oven for another 20 minutes or so. Eat (unless you're Abby in which case you sit and watch while we eat ha ha).
